SJ9295 : Victoria Park
taken 10 years ago, near to Denton, Tameside, England

In the background is Denton Town Hall which now houses Denton Library.
On the left can be seen part of the Millennium Mural on the side of the swimming pool.
The Denton mural was painted on the wall of Denton Pool facing Victoria Park in 2000. It was conceived by David Vaughan and commissioned by the Denton Town Twinning Association. It serves to commemorate both the second millennium and the continuing friendship between the people of Denton and Montigny le Brettoneux.
A stitched "pano" of the mural can be found at Link
