The bench in the foreground was presented by Denton Local History Society in memory of Kathleen Dore 1916-2011.
In the background is Denton Town Hall which now houses Denton Library.

Denton Mural
The Denton mural was painted on the wall of Denton Pool facing Victoria Park in 2000. It was conceived by David Vaughan and commissioned by the Denton Town Twinning Association. It serves to commemorate both the second millennium and the continuing friendship between the people of Denton and Montigny le Brettoneux.
