Cliff work, Oddicombe
Cliff work, Oddicombe
The reason the cliff road is closed to traffic - see SX9265 : Oddicombe Beach Hill closed. About 300 tons of potentially unstable rock are being removed in an attempt to stabilise the cliff. Work is currently taking place about 400 metres from the site of the notorious collapsed house - see Link . Below at the rear of the beach is Babbacombe Corinthian Sailing Club.
