SD4968 : Stone belvedere at Mount Pleasant

taken 9 years ago, near to Bolton-le-Sands, Lancashire, England

Stone belvedere at Mount Pleasant
Stone belvedere at Mount Pleasant
An intriguing stone belvedere at Mount Pleasant, on a very quiet lane north-east of Bolton-le-Sands. This charmingly simple and attractive building at the corner of the walled property takes advantage of the panoramic view west over Morecambe Bay. I first saw this at dusk on Sunday 8 February 1976 towards the end of a memorable horseback ride.
