Pillbox north of Dunstan Square
Pillbox north of Dunstan Square
One of a pair of World War 2 concrete sandbag pillboxes between Dunstan Square and Dunstan Steads. This one is situated just west of the farm track below the low hill top west of Scrog Hill. It is protected on the coastal side by an old quarry, now a pond within a forest plantation. Its primary focus of outlook was over the flat farmland to the east-south-east NU2421 : Pillbox north of Dunstan Square.
