Anti-tank cubes near Dunstan Steads
Anti-tank cubes near Dunstan Steads
The concrete anti-tank cubes here could be associated with a World War II trench in the dunes behind Embleton Bay seen in RAF aerial photographs from 1946.

Further north near The Skaith there is a row of ten anti-tank cubes disturbed by wave action. Inscribed into the surface of one cube is 'Good Luck Churchill' and into another is 'Thomas Watson 1940'.

Another group of inscribed cubes near Chuck Bank are shown here NU2424 : Beach house and anti- tank cubes, Newton Haven
