Pond area re-excavated in Dec 2015 by Cromwell Bottom Wildlife Group to improve wildlife habitat by maintaining adequate year round water levels. The ponds are adjacent to Tag Loop - an ancient canal, long fallen into disrepair. They lie within Cromwell Bottom Nature Reserve - a former landfill site, now being restored and managed for nature.
