Opened in 1845 as 'Overton' by the London & Birmingham Railway, later part of the London & North Western Railway, on the line from Northampton to Peterborough East, this station closed to passengers in 1942 and completely in 1964. The name had changed to Orton Waterville in 1913.
View north west towards Castor and Northampton. The main building had been to the left of the tracks, the signalbox to the right.
