The Chapel Royal at Stirling Castle
The Chapel Royal at Stirling Castle
Built in 1594 by James VI for the christening of his first son. After the court left it was taken over by the army and the buildings put to military use. It was subsequently restored, with a roof of the original design and the wall decoration discovered and restored.
