Ironbridge toll charges
Ironbridge toll charges
It's easy to forget that, when it was built, the iron bridge was simply a means to get from one side of the Severn to the other. This picture shows what it would have cost to do so with various loads. The board is on the wall of the old toll house. Taken on film with a Voigtlander Vitomatic II with an orange filter on the lens.
