SK0498 : Temporary access road on the Longdendale Trail

taken 4 years ago, 3 km from Hadfield, Derbyshire, Great Britain

Temporary access road on the Longdendale Trail
Temporary access road on the Longdendale Trail
Connecting a pylon work-site above Rhodeswood reservoir with the B6105 almost a kilometre east. Made from interlocking DURA-BASEŽ brand mats which provide a heavy duty working platform for temporary work sites and access roads. Apparently they are 'the foundation for an effective spill containment program in eco-sensitive areas where environmental protections simply cannot be compromised'.
