Dublin in Glasgow (in miniature)
This is part of the O'Connell Street layout of the Model Railway Society of Ireland on display at Model Rail Scotland 2016 in the SECC. The layout represents Dublin's premier street and tramway system, set in 1949 - the final year of Dublin's trams. The large building is the Dublin General Post Office. The monument is Nelson's Pillar. The original was blown up in 1966 by the Irish Republican Army.

Views of the real thing (in O1534) can be seen at [Link] and [Link].
