Chelmsford Cathedral, Essex
Chelmsford Cathedral, Essex
More correctly called The Cathedral of St Mary, St Peter and St Cedd, it is a parish church and the Mother church for the whole Chelmsford Diocese of Essex and five Eastern London Boroughs. Its modern look belies the fact that the building dates back to the early fifteenth century, which itself replaced an earlier church of the eleventh century.
