RAF Milfield Memorial
RAF Milfield was at first training base for fighter pilots and later was a site for ground attack training in Typhoons. Training was hazardous, pilots moved on to their squadrons in about 9 weeks and there were many casualties, remembered on this stone in the Maelmin carpark.
