Salt and Malt
Salt and Malt
What were the old tearooms at Chew Valley Lake are now Salt and Malt. The former Bristol Water Works outlet was taken over in early 2015 by a special local concern. Josh Eggleton, who began his career in a Bristol chip-shop, rose to be a Michelin starred chef at the Pony and Trap pub at nearby Newtown. He and his team have revamped the rooms to provide some of the finest fish and chips, along with other special themed cuisines. They even have something to hang your boots on, too!
