TG1208 : Braving the flood

taken 3 years ago, near to Marlingford, Norfolk, Great Britain

Braving the flood
Braving the flood
After a day of non-stop rain the River Yare is carrying a lot of water and has flooded adjacent pastures and the mill stream and water from the mill pond is currently running across the road. The water here is actually not as deep as it may at first sight appear and cars were able to get through without a problem. The disused watermill at Marlingford can be seen in the background.
