Gate into GreenAcres
Gate into GreenAcres
Here the path leaves the wood behind and enters a water meadow on the south bank of the River Yare, entering an area referred to as "The Meadow" which forms part of the burial ground.
GreenAcres woodland burial ground in Colney

The burial ground is set in 16 acres of mature woodland, also known as Colney Wood, and was the first of the parks to be opened towards the end of 1999. Once part of Colney Park, the wood is said to support hundreds of species of wildlife with well over 50 species of birds regularly seen, including Greater Spotted Woodpeckers, Tree Creepers and Jays.
