The River Yare by Colney Hall
The River Yare by Colney Hall
The remains of an old boathouse belonging to Colney Hall and marked on the first edition OS survey map for Norfolk dating from the 1880s can be seen at right; the bramble patch marks the location. After a day of heavy rainfalls the river has burst its banks and flooded the adjacent meadows, which form part of a conservation area.
