TQ1773 : The forecourt, Ham House

taken 9 years ago, near to Twickenham, Richmond Upon Thames, England

The forecourt, Ham House
The forecourt, Ham House
If the light looks wintry, I can confirm that this was a particularly chilly day, with a sharp March wind blowing.

Ham House faces the river, and the gravelled forecourt runs for a distance of about 300 yards across the river frontage. The distant building with its little tower (or cupola) breaking the skyline can also be seen in: TQ1772 : Entrance to the stable-yard, Ham House

Photo taken through railings.
