Nuthatch - St Hilary
Nuthatch - St Hilary
One of our more colourful woodland birds more often heard than seen. Unlike the drabber Tree Creeper which hunts between crevices in the bark of tree for tiny insects by always flying to a lower part of the tree before moving upward, the Nuthatch will move both upward and downward in its quest for anything edible, be it animal or vegetable.
