Montrose Beach and Promenade
Montrose Beach and Promenade
This statue, "The Minesweeper", is one of several in Montrose by William Lamb, ARSA.
[Thanks, Stan Howe. See LinkExternal link (Archive LinkExternal link ) ]

The beach was dredged in 2006 to provide some sand to replace that which had been washed away in Aberdeen. Beyond the statue is a blue flag, awarded for a clean and unpolluted beach.
