Pillbox (type FW3/22): DoB ID: S0012046

The coastline between Highcliffe and Milford-on-Sea contains a number of surviving structures from WWII, a reminder of when this country was threatened with invasion in 1940 by Nazi Germany. This is a type 22 pillbox of reinforced concrete on the seafront at Highcliffe.
