Bowder Stone vital statistics
Weighing in around 2000 tons,9 metres in height,a diameter of 15 metres and with a girth of around 90 feet, the Bowder Stone's provenance is in dispute. Some say it toppled from the nearby crags and other say it is an erratic carried by a glacier all the way from Scotland. If this proves to be the case then I can only suggest that the Sassenachs do the decent thing and return it forthwith along with the Elgin marbles of course.
