Cast iron footbridge over the River Foss
The bridge is locked and gated and appears disused.

According to Wikipedia LinkExternal link , the bridge was constructed in 1931 by the Monk Bridge Construction Company to provide a link between a power station and its cooling tower. The site to the west of the river is currently used by DEFRA.
