Two chimney pots on the Ridgeway Street side of the building. One is plain with a ring near the top. The inverted top on other is (I think) an elaborate form of protection against the elements and/or nesting birds.

A development site (Nos 1-3 Ridgeway Street and 130-134 Stranmillis Road), advertised for sale as a “Superb redevelopment opportunity . . . . . site area c. 3,875 sq ft (360 sq m)”. I understand that the site has planning permission (Z/2010/1433/F on 21 December 2011) for eight two-bed apartments and two car parking spaces.
