taken 10 years ago, near to Tresinwen, Pembrokeshire/Sir Benfro, Wales

Garn Fawr fortification
Garn Fawr fortification
Great piles of broken stone are all that remain of the ramparts of the hill-fort, rather spoiled by the modern field boundary that runs across the enclosure.
The jointed and shattered peak of the Garn comprises gabbro of Ordovician age, which was associated with the extensive basaltic volcanism that can be demonstrated throughout the Pen Caer district.
