The name of the field according to Steyning's 1840 tithe map which is bounded by the River Adur to its north and west, the former Shoreham-Christ's Hospital railway to the east which has sliced off a small portion of the former field in its construction, and TQ1913 : Bridger Brook to the south. Wyckham Wood can be seen in the distance to the right.
