Chappel & Wakes Colne railway station, Essex
Opened in 1849 by the Eastern Union Railway on the line from Marks Tey to Sudbury. The line was extended to Cambridge in 1865 by the Great Eastern Railway, but cut back to Sudbury again in 1967.
Forecourt. Since 1969 the station has also been home to the East Anglian Railway museum. Road access seems to have improved in the 32 years since TL8928 : Chappel & Wakes Colne station, 1984 was taken.
