Several of the competitors in the 2016 Rotary Exmoor Challenge have headed in the wrong direction from the Haddon Hill trig point, and some are here correcting the mistake by heading towards the dam at the corner of the reservoir. The long version of the walk (supposedly ten miles, but at least a mile and half further, I reckoned) involves a circuit of the lake from here and back to Upton village hall. The cluster of farms on the far right are at Holworthy in SS9730.
