Historic bus on Old Dee Bridge in Chester
June 30 2007 was the final day of municipal bus operation in Chester. To mark the occasion, the North West Museum of Transport sent along their historic Guy Arab V with bodywork by Massey Bros of Wigan which operated for many years as Chester City Transport No 1. The vehicle ran on a number of the municipal bus routes during the day and was captured crossing the Old Dee Bridge returning from Saltney to the city centre.
