The entrance to the SMART Centre on the left, and one of the original Pavilions on the right. Originally AAH was a convalescence hospital. This pavilion is the west one; I recall spending time [2-3 weeks?] in one of them in 1965 after a slipped disc operation - recovery and physiotherapy took a lot longer then than it does now!
