Horse Sand Fort
Horse Sand Fort
Horse Sand Fort and SZ6393 : No Man's Land Fort are the two largest of the four sea forts in the Solent. This view was taken as we sailed between No Man's Land and SZ6397 : Spitbank Fort forts. (The fourth (and smallest) fort is SZ6489 : St Helen's Fort)
Horse Sand Fort is owned by Solent Forts - but unlike Spitbank and No Man's Land which they also own, there are no intentions to convert this fort into hotel; instead they are intending to restore it as a museum.
