This is not Denis, but his grandson Nick, facing Nottinghamshire's Jake Ball. Shortly afterwards, Compton was lbw for 3 to someone else with a famous name, Brett Hutton (no relation to Sir Leonard).

(Later the same week Ball and Compton were named in a 12-man England squad for the First Test against Sri Lanka.)
