Lower Lighthouse, Buddon Ness
Lower Lighthouse, Buddon Ness
No longer in use and its position has been changed several times, since its erection in 1866. The first light on the Ness was apparently erected in 1687, as a wooden structure on rollers.
(According to Dickson's guide to that area, 'Carnoustie and its Neighbourhood'.)
