The Road to Inveroran
Formerly the A8005 - a rather grand classification for such a quiet narrow road, that gives vehicular access to the Inveroran Hotel, Victoria Bridge and Forest Lodge. It follows the River Orchy and the southern shore of Loch Tulla to reach it's destination.
For West Highland Way Walkers, and their predecessors the British Redcoat, however - the Old Military Road cuts off a corner by climbing over Màm Carraigh, before descending towards Inveroran. Less distance, more energy burnt!
