Chinnor, post mill - stone floor
Chinnor, post mill - stone floor
This is a reconstructed post mill that is very largely new. The lower half of the buck contains the two sets of underdrift stones. The bedstones are in and one vat is loosely assembled but the runner stones have yet to be sourced. The gearing is also incomplete although bits can be seen scattered around. The main post is seen in the centre and carries the weight of the buck on a huge beam out of sight at the top.
