Pillbox (type FW3/26): DoB ID: S0003216

One of six extant pillboxes in this locality centred on the Pen-y-Gwryd Hotel. This is a modified type 26 having 9 embrasures, 3 facing south, and 2 each in the east, west and north walls. Entry is by a short tunnel on the north side. Made from local stone with a concrete roof.
