The area immediately north and south of Dagenham Dock station would not win awards for attractiveness. This is the southern half of Chequers Lane which has been severed from the northern half by construction of the Channel Tunnel Rail Link - see Link Even so there are occasional bits of brightness like this hawthorn blossom peeking through iron railings. This view looks north, under the flyover carrying the A13 over Chequers Lane and towards Dagenham Dock station.
