Two cinemas in Belfast
The “New Vic”, Gt Victoria Street (middle) and the “ABC”, College Square East (right), were overtaken by the multiplex phenomenon. The “New Vic” was demolished and part of the site was used to extend the Opera House (left). The ABC was replaced by Jury’s Hotel. The Grosvenor Road runs between the two. See also J3373 : New hotel, Belfast. J3373 : Two hotels, Belfast shows a similar view in July 2013.
