ORE Catapult - the Levenmouth Turbine
This huge turbine is built on the site of the Fife Energy Park, and operated as a demonstration of its type by Offshore Renewable Energy Catapult. The tower stands almost 111m high, with blades of 83.5m in length and a total height to blade tip of 196m. It is rated at 7MW, capable of powering 4800 homes, and is presently the world's largest commercial wind turbine.
