Detail of a drinking fountain
Detail of a drinking fountain
Detail of a drinking fountain at Wightwick Manor; it was placed here on the Stable block at Wightwick Manor in 1971, after spending a century, from 1861 to 1961, outside Wolverhampton market. The drinking fountain was a gift to Wolverhampton from Charles Mander. When the town had no further use for it they felt it should be returned.

Charles Mander was the uncle of Theodore Mander who commissioned the building of Wightwick Manor in 1887.
