The West Window of York Minster, from on high
In 2016 the York Mystery Plays were held in York Minster, and raked seating was provided for the audience. The top level of the seating was probably 15-20m above the floor of the nave, which gave me this opportunity to be almost level with the sill of the great west window. At 7:15 in the evening of a cloudy day, the light behind the window is not strong, and I only had a small camera with me, so apologies for the lack of detail.
York Minster is noted for its medieval stained glass, and contains over half the medieval stained glass in England, according to the programme for the Mystery Plays.

The York Mystery Plays 2016
The 2016 production of the York Mystery Plays was held in York Minster. A massive stage, on four levels, had been built in the nave in front of the tower, which was used very effectively. Unfortunately photography wasn't permitted during the performance, so I have no pictures.
