Lade, Ashford Court
The gully is all that remains of a mill stream that was dug for a mill that was never built. The Teme drops a fair bit at Ashford Court and around 1900 a hydroelectric generator was installed at one of the rapids. The Court and farm buildings were the first to be electrified in the area, the wires were made of lead.
