This appears to some sort of settlement pond and intake for the Black Rock Hydro Electric scheme. Water is fed by underground pipe from an intake on the Allt nan Caorach, before it runs down to a turbine house on the bank of the River Glass here NH5568 : Bridge and Turbine House - River Glass
