Remains of Lowther House chimney, Loadpot Hill 1968
Remains of a former shooting lodge known as Lowther House: according to Wainwright, the wooden structure was dismantled and removed. I was here again in May 1969 and noted that 'the chimney stack has now collapsed'.

See NY4517 : Ruin, Lowther House for the current state of the ruin.
