Megalithic wedge tomb
Megalithic wedge tomb
Sometimes called the Giant's Grave. The double wall is said to be unique. Animal remains found here were dated to around 2500 to 2000 BC, suggesting that it was in use for some centuries. Someone writing in the 19th century claimed that an old woman had lived in it at one time, and that when she died, rocks covering the tomb were removed to discourage others from following her example.
