The brothers were, 34 year old Second Lieutenant Alfred Richard BARTON who died on the Somme on July 18th 1916 and 19 year old Second Lieutenant Hugh Fabian BARTON who died at Ypres February 12th 1916. They were the Eldest and youngest sons of Alfred and Alice Barton.
