Submerged Forest and peat exposed at low tide on Morfa Beach, Conwy.

Neolithic age - approx 5,000 years old.

Exposed tree stump and root system with fallen branches/trunks. The tree stumps are rooted in peat levels lying below the marine sand and have been preserved by the continuous waterlogged conditions.
