Grange-over-Sands railway station

The first station in Grange was opened in 1857 by the Ulverston and Lancaster Railway. The present station was built c.1877 by architect Edward Graham Paley for the Furness Railway, which later became part of the London Midland and Scottish Railway. It was restored in 1998 and is listed grade 2 (list entry number 1269659). [Information from a plaque on the station and the list description].
