taken 8 years ago, near to Rackheath, Norfolk, England

Witchcraft Way (road sign)
Witchcraft Way (road sign)
This is only a very short road leading to the restored and converted Watch office (Control tower) of RAF Rackheath > Link and the name refers to a B-24 Liberator bomber aircraft nicknamed Witchcraft which is famous for completing the most missions of any Second Air Division aircraft – 130 > Link.

To the left of the sign, a footpath marker can be glimpsed in the hedge. The path follows Witchcraft Way, turning northwards by the converted Watch office and then traversing the former flying field > Link before it emerges on Muck Lane by Dakenham Hall.
