Permissive path notice in Egypt Woods
The sign board reads:
"Permissive path
This path is provided for the public under an agreement between the owner and the Forestry Commission
Please keep to marked paths
For the sake of wildlife dogs must be kept under close control
The Portman Estate".
On one post of the notice are a white arrow on a green disc with wording "Permissive path", and a broken disc indicating "Walkers welcome".

Permissive and public paths near Burnham Beeches
By arrangement with the Forestry Commission, the Portman Burtley Estate allows access on permissive paths through Egypt Woods and Dorney Wood. The permissive paths link to roads and public footpaths North of Burnham Beeches.
